Is Starbucks Cold Brew Whole30 compliant?

Here is what we want you to learn to do.... Ask the server at Starbucks about all the ingredients in their product. If you are unsure of an ingredient, you can look it up in a Whole30 blog post, on the forum, or ask about it here. You cannot simply trust when someone says that something at any particular place is compliant because they may be mistaken, they may have been thinking of another product, or the ingredients might be different in a different location.

Tim Horton's iced coffee has a sugar base which is not advertised or even mentioned when you order it. If you say you want "nothing but coffee & ice" in your mug, you may or may not get a server that knows the sugar base should be mentioned. If Starbucks cold brew has so many people claiming it's "GREAT" you can bet there's something in it that's different. I couldn't find any info on their website (except that the Iced Brew has a syrup in it). You might want to wait until the info is posted.

I work for Starbucks. If you order an unsweetened cold brew with no milk, it is compliant. The only ingredients are coffee, ice, and water. Cold brew simply refers to the brewing process, which lends a much smoother flavor then our standard iced coffee.
