RenTpt
I have a salad dressing that I love. Everything in it is compliant, but I am unsure of one ingredient: tocopherols. I am thinking it is not okay, but I just wanted to double check. I think it is another type of vitamin E. Does anyone know?
thegoldengrahamgirl
If you don't even know what it is, are you SURE you want to eat it? It's not an explicitly banned additive. But I do encourage you to make your own salad dressings, with only ingredients you recognize and can pronounce and describe. Sorry/not sorry! /whole30toughlove Cheers, -Lauren (GGG)
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 4, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 4, 2016 I think it's probably okay. That's based on alpha tocopherol being one of the okay additives on the common additive cheat sheet pdf, and previous discussions here in the forums like this one. RenTpt
First of all, tough love is what I need. Second, I didn't even see the Alpha Tocopherol on the acceptable items for the program. I was just looking under "T". Thank you.
