Sromero
This is my first time doing the Whole30 but it's clearly evident how hooked on sugar I am! I've had a nonstop headache all day and I feel like I could eat a horse! And I feel really irritable. Anybody else start this way?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2016 Headaches are pretty normal during the first few days. As for the hunger, just go ahead and eat. Even if it feels like lots of food, it's okay. More than likely, you won't feel as hungry after a couple of days. When you eat, even if you do need to eat between meals, have a mix of protein, fat, and vegetables. Avoid snacking on things like nuts that are really easy to overeat, or fruit by itself which could affect your blood sugar levels and might lead to craving more sweet tasting foods. anchorageali
Absolutely! I am ending day 5 of my 3rd whole30 so somehow thought I should be exempt. Have been experiencing carb flu, kill the things and fatigue all together over the weekend. Thankfully KATT let up some today. Headaches are common. Look up the timeline on the site or in Whole30 book. I promise it's worth it - you will feel Tony Tiger GRRREAT in a couple weeks and the headaches should stop soon!
