FoodieCG Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 My go to fish monger, Vital Choice (which has an excellent reputation for responsible, organic, sustainable practices) has a salmon burger in which the only ingredient besides wild caught salmon and herbs/spices is something called "organic apple flakes." I assume this is to create a patty texture, but I haven't heard of it before. Looking it up online, it seems to be a powder made from dried apples... Is this allowed?
