audmeighan
Happy day 7!This is my second Whole 30 and I had no hangover issues with the first one. This time, however, I'm a week in and I can't get rid of an awful headache! It hurts above and behind my eyes and in the back middle of my head. Could something I'm eating be the cause? I haven't logged my food, but I have had more nuts and fruit on this W30 than the first one. Otherwise, I've eaten clean meals from Well Fed and PaleOMG. The only nightshade so far are tomatoes. Any help or advice on relieving this pain is greatly appreciated!
GFChris
Sorry about the headache. Note that it's ok to take something like Tylenol to give you some relief. Eating is one possible cause. Other culprits include lack of sleep, stress, and insufficient water consumption. Can you post a few days worth of your meals, including portion sizes and daily water consumption, and we can see if anything stands out. audmeighan
I'll bet it's stress and/or lack of sleep! (Tylenol hasn't helped, unfortunately.) But, I did start a new job yesterday and I've been having trouble getting on the right sleep schedule. HOW did that not occur to me??? I drink anywhere from 64-80 ounces of water per day. It's usually not a problem, but I'm open to ideas. I'll work on the food info, just in case. Thanks for the speedy reply!

If you're looking for a fun/cute way to track and remember your water, try the Plant Nanny app if you have a smart phone. It's free and it's adorable and irritating enough to remind you to drink! Basically with every bottle/serving of water you drink, you water your plant and it grows. Stop watering and it gets all sad and shrivelled!
