Anniegardengirl
This Southern gal has just finished my first week! Yippee. I have 2 concerns, im getting daily headaches and I'm not sleeping very well. I started the whole 30 to help figure out if certain foods and drinks are causing my headaches and to improve my health. I love sugar, all of it! Candy, bakery, ice cream! It's out of control and I am really trying to get a handle on it. This week, I'm eating well and really enjoy the meals I have been making, but, is there and end to these headaches?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 8, 2016 Tell us a lot more. Exactly what have you been eating the past 2-3 days? How much water are you drinking? How much are you sleeping? What, if any, exercise are you doing? And anything else that might be relevant. The absence of starchy veggies from your meals can be a problem for sleep quality. Not eating enough in general can provoke headaches...
Anniegardengirl
I have been eating as required 3 meals a day. Breakfast has been, eggs, potatoes, onion, green pepper, ground beef and chicken. Not all together, but theses were the ingredients, black coffee and fruit. Lunches have been salad left over protein and fruit. Dinners: chicken, ground beef, and salmon. Potatoes, broccoli, red pepper, carrots, sweet potatoe, celery, radishes, lettuce vinegrette dressing and olives. Spices, garlic and onion. 1apple every day. Mango, banana, grapefruit, orange. Cashews. I've been using Eco and coconut oil for cooking. I am pretty active, 15-28 thousand steps a day, from working and walking my dogs. I drink about 60-70 ounces of water. Roughly. I really don't keep track. My sleep has been restless, I'm dreaming about cheating (lol) I'm down for about 8 hours but up a least 3 times. I had one Charlie horse. Three days I woke with headaches, the others came through out the day. They get better with meds but they linger and keep coming back. I'm drinking more water today and cutting back on fruit. Maybe that will help.
