Where are you having problems?  Is it hunger or too much work cooking or not feeling well?  Or something else?  I know that I struggled through the first couple of weeks and then started to see changes about the third week.  What is your typical menu?

The first week or so can be tough, especially if this is a big change for you. It does get better, so hang in there.

Is there anything in particular you're having trouble with? I'm sure someone here on the forum will have gone through something similar and can offer more specific advice.

Im not getting hungry because there is no counting calories, i love to cook so that is not a problem as well.  I live in a household with 8 family members and they all love to eat….healthy and unhealthy. so, i struggle because i see all those food on the table. My husband loves rice and he is not ready to join me so i do need to cook for him the food that he normally eats which is mostly fried and saucy. thanks for the responses

I pretty much eat what my husband eats, at least the basic meat, fried is okay, just use coconut oil, or ghee.  I just don't eat the rice, etc. and I make my own sauces, (sun sauce, mayo, tomato, coconut aminos, vinagrette dressings)   and always have sweet and regular potatoes, some vegetable dish, maybe some spaghetti squash or cauliflower rice in the refrigerator to sub for his rice and pasta.  However, neither of us eat desserts or drink, so I don't have to deal with that.  (The mayo is really delicious and easy to make (whole 30 book).)  I don't know what I would do if I had to cook a dessert.  Fruit is okay for me at dinner although not so much in the morning, after a while it is so sweet when there is no other sugar that I am satisfied with a few grapes in my salad, a banana with some almond butter. a sweet potato.  Is there a way to discuss this with your family and have them help by bending a little, eating a few more vegetables, letting some sauces go?
