Ram0na
My hubby, Kevin, and I are staying our 30 day program today. I'm looking forward to seeing how my body changes. A few years ago, the doctor told me I needed to be on a gluten free diet because of my thyroid and eczema. That lasted for about 3 days! My daughter found the Whole 30 and told me about it. I know I can do this for 30 days and then slowly add things back into my diet. - Ramona

CherylS67
I started yesterday too, how's it going so far? I am getting a mild headache as I type this. I suffer from migraines so hopefully this won't turn into one.

I suffer from migraines so hopefully this won't turn into one. I've also had a headache since yesterday. I don't know how many times I've told myself "This is stupid. Why am I denying myself things that make me happy?" ...but I'm trying to figure out why I let FOOD make me happy. I do not have a good relationship with food... I tend to overeat, eat crappy food, and eat in secrecy (binge when nobody is around). I hope everybody else is doing ok--I'm going to continue coming here for accountability! SuzyQ1515
I also started yesterday. I have done this twice before and felt great both times, but haven't made the habits stick. This time I'm 6 months pregnant and I have to control my sugar cravings. They have been so powerful and I know they are a huge part of why I'm feeling so bad. I look forward to checking in with y'all from time to time. I definitely need support this time.

Have you read the book It Starts with Food? If not I highly suggest it. It answers all of your questions and is extremely empowering.
KatieLaat
I started on the 11th along with my sister and a coworker. So far I haven't had any cravings for junk and cheating has not crossed my mind. I did have a slight headache yesterday evening and felt a little fatigued, but other then that, I am feeling great! Snacking through out the day has always been my biggest downfall, especially after work and before supper. I've made it the last two days without even thinking to raid the cupboards or refrigerator when i got home. I keep telling myself that this is a lifestyle change, and this should have been how I was eating my whole life. I'm also very excited to look and feel better and hopefully see a decrease on the scale when the 30 days is up!
Seltzer
I asked my husband if he wanted to do the Whole30 with me and he said "Does it have to be 30 consecutive days?" Our grocery cart has multiple personalities.
