Well day 1 is in the books and I made,  I forgot to log yesterday so I'll add here and start day 2.

1/11 Breakfast

2 Eggs, Sweet Potato Cakes with fresh cliantro

Lunch

Salad with mixed greens, carrots, onions, cucumber, grilled chicken and Tessames Lemon garlic dressing

Dinner

unstuffed cabbage roll casserole, cabbage, onion garlic sauteed in ghee, with a little ground beef and sausage sourced from a local company , mixed with a little tomato sauce and baked. This recipe is a keeper

Im proud as the only snack i needed all day was a little halo orange.

I also put down 128 oz of water which was just a touch over what I needed to consume

I also put up my gummy vitamins for my Whole30 and am taking a multivitamin everyday

1/12 Breakfast

2 eggs omelet with spinach, and homemade salsa

1 sausage link

I will post later after lunch

When eggs are your sole protein for a meal it should be the number of whole eggs you can hold in one hand without dropping them.  For most guys that is at least 4.

When greens or salad are the vegetable of choice during a meal it needs to be huge - think about how small the portion would be if you were to cook the greens down.  Salads need to be generally HUGE (think mixing bowl size).

Sometimes eating this way is an adjustment.  I ate 2 eggs for breakfast for the longest time and then I realized that I was feeling hungry mid morning, and during midday.  I added 1 more egg and increased my veggies - but I was stuffed and couldn't finish my breakfast very often.  So what I decided what to do was eat what I could, and then packed the rest to take with me to eat when I was hungry again - usually 10:30.  I did that for about a week and a half - and then I didn't need to do that anymore.

Ahh I made it through today.  Not to bad except the minor headache earlier. Meal 3 tonight was delicious.  It consisted of

Cracklin Chicken

Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Half of sweet Potato/with ghee and cinamon

Fresh carrots and broccoli

Off to day 3 tomorrow.  I'm finding if I treat each day as a new adventure it's not so hard to get through.
