SandraPTY
Are California Valley nuts approved? I've looked everywhere, I'm on day 8 and just today I thought of the nut brand. I read the label it shows no ingredients, hope the answer is yes cause going back to day 1 will not be good for me specially today...
Brewer5
If it's just nuts, you're good to go! Just be careful... Eating too many of them is a problem for MANY.

Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2016 California Valley is a brand, not a nut. Their website says they do walnuts. Walnuts are okay.
thegoldengrahamgirl
Just be aware the walnuts are definitely on the "LIMIT" list due to their relatively high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). If you're going to have nuts (as mentioned, they're easy to overeat and they are a "sub-optimal" fat source), macadamia nuts are your best pick due to their relatively high content of Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA).
