Breanne
From all the reading I've been doing on here, I think this one is ok but can you please confirm PC ORGANICS BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA INGREDIENTS LIST SAYS: organic wine vinegar, organic concentrated grape must. Contains sulfites.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 16, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 16, 2016 This is fine. Sulphites are naturally occurring in this case so they are not IN the ingredients list, but noted at the end. If they were added they would be listed as an ingredient. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted January 20, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 20, 2016 That's what gets me..the whole sulfites...kinda confusing Sulfites are naturally occuring in some foods (like grapes). Sulfites can also be ADDED to foods as a preservative. If the ingredient list says 'sulfites', that means it was added to the product. If somewhere on the bottle but not in the ingredients list it says 'contains sulphites', then that means they're naturally occurring. Even naturally occurring sulphites can be a problem for some people tho so it's better (and possible) to find products without.

I've been eating olives that contain red wine vinegar..if that vinegar had added sulfites, would they have put sulfites in the ingredient list for the olives?
