Occasional Headaches

Hi,

I am following the food strictly and everything is compliant. I'm only drinking water, coffee or seltzer. I'm working out 4 times a week and I'm on day 16. Twice this week I have woken up with a dull headache and I'm wondering if it could be due to low water intake. I'm trying to drink 5 camelbak bottles per day but on these particular two days I had not drank much water. Could this be the reason I feel so bad?

Not enough water could cause headaches. Aim for 1/2 oz per pound of body weight, so a 120 lb person would need at least 60 oz.

 

Other things that could cause headaches -- not eating enough or not salting your food.

 

If you wanted to list a couple of days' worth of food (including approximate portion sizes), water intake, and activity, we could see if anything stands out that you might need to change.
