My First Whole30

Excited to start today! I was already prepared in my kitchen (for the most part) as I eat Paleo the majority of the time.  The next step was preparing myself mentally - especially when I can't bake Paleo goodies! I'm ready. I'm excited for the challenge I've given myself for the next 30 days. It isn't hard. I believe that. So today, January 21, 2016, I begin with Day1.

Day 2 and had usual breakfast with greens and an egg, plus lots of water and a tea (with nothing added, of course!) :-) I made Paleo chocolate chili and that'll be my lunch, with avocado and extra tomatoes on top. Happy day, everyone!

Just finishing Day 11 and I have to admit that I'm missing my Paleo goodies: pancakes, chocolate brownie in a mug, etc. But I'm determined to do this. When I feel like I'm craving these sweets, I go back and read the guidelines/rules and especially the part about "it's not hard." It keeps me going and makes me laugh, too.
