Canned Sweet Potato

I don't have a brand recommendation but if you are wanting them for the salmon cakes or any recipe where you are blending them into something, you can sub canned pumpkin (not pie filling) because canned pumpkin rarely comes with added sugar.  And the recipe will come out the same in the end.  :)

I buy a brand called Farmer's Market. You have to look for it in the organic or healthy aisle. I've found it at both Wegmans and Giant. They also make canned puréed butternut squash, which I keep on hand to add to scrambled eggs before I cook them, one tablespoon per egg.
