momo72
hi all, this is probably not a new topic, sorry but i'm prepping to start at the beginning of feb, i will be exercising as soon as i get out of bed most mornings and i don't usually eat before i go out ( only 30 min run, nothing too strenuous) should i be eating before i go out (and if yes what is acceptable?) and should i eat a post workout meal or just meal 1 after my stretch and shower? thanks, really trying to plan as much as possible so i can make the 30 days! scared and excited at the same time!! momo72
jmcbn
As you expected this topic has been covered many times on the forum before. The best way of searching to answer for any query you might have is via Google - type in 'Whole30' + 'your query' and you will likely gets lots of links to previous threads. In response to your particular question if it will be more than an hour before you first eat then the general rule of thumb would be to have a few bites of a lean protein before you train. If you get up, go to the gym, and run all within an hour then you could just opt for a postWO meal immediately upon finishing (ie. before you shower) - a few bites of a lean protein and optional starchy carb.No fruits/veg BEFORE training, & no fruits after.Your postWO meal and meal one should not be combined. kirkor
( only 30 min run, nothing too strenuous) I think your M1 would be sufficient. See how you feel (both in terms of performance and your prep/scheduling in the morning) and adjust accordingly.
