Derval
Using this recipe http://fastpaleo.com/primal-meatloaf/ *please note the recipe writer is pretty sweary, so if you are of delicate disposition you may be offended* And you'll have to hit the google for conversion as it's in metric, but it's worth it! here's how it turned out (pic at end) One of my FB friends commented that it was "heart attack on a plate" <roll eyes> I made a fresh & tasty tomato sauce to go with it by sweating off some finely chopped shallots & garlic, add a pack of cherry tomatoes, cover & bubble till tomatoes are soft, mash with a potato masher to break up tomatoes, add fresh basil, then with lid off simmer till reduced down to your liking. LindaLee
Is it whole30 if you leave out the bacon? And can you replace the almond with coconut flour?
Derval
I don't think omitting an ingredient could ever make something non compliant I've never used coconut flour so don't know if the taste would come through, the almonds don't anyway. Sure give it a go, it's just as a binder.
