Hannlib 301
I make my own stock ;-) but someone in a Facebook group has asked about kallo yeast free vegetable stock cubes. They look okay apart from 'vegetable fat'. what do people think please? http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/kallo-yeast-free-vegetable-stock-cubes-60070266
laura_juggles 536
Hydrolyzed vegetable protein is produced by boiling foods like soy, corn, or wheat in hydrochloric acid. That does not sound yummy or compliant. It says gluten free so it may not be derived from wheat, but that still leaves corn and soy. I'd call it a no-go.
Moderators SugarcubeOD 4122 Posted February 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2016 Nope, sorry. Hydrolized vegetable protein stands for 'hidden soy'.
