Xandra 633
I need your all-time favorite chicken wing recipe, to make for Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks!
Administrators ladyshanny 7992 Posted February 5, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2016 In a ziploc bag, put a good amount of arrowroot powder, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder etc. Stir it around. Make sure your wings are nice and dry (as in, dry them off with a paper towel) and then put a bunch of the wings into the bag and shake them around. From here you can use any one of the billion baking suggestions found online. I usually just put them on a foil lined sheet or on our stoneware and bake them at about 400 for 35 minutes, flipping halfway.
Geri 0
ladyshanny - do you have measurements for the ingredients?
Administrators ladyshanny 7992 Posted February 18, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2016 No, Geri, sorry! I'm more of a 'by sight' cook. I probably used about 1/4 cups arrowroot for a large ziploc bag 2/3 full of chicken pieces. For the spices, you can't really screw it up. I probably had 1/2 tsp each of the ones noted above. Hope that helps?
Xandra 633
Ladyshanny, I followed your suggestions and The Man said these were the best wings he ever had! Geri, I needed to use a lot of spice for a family pack of wings (hacked off the tips first). Try a couple of tablespoons of each, adjusting proportions to taste.

Administrators ladyshanny 7992 Posted February 18, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2016 Also, my post above should say 1-2 tsp each, not 1/2 tsp each.
Laurathegoth 19
I like to season them with magic mushroom powder (nom nom paleo)
