KLHRTree
HI, recently underwent ACDF (cervical spine surgery) and am suffering all the time now with stiffness, soreness, headaches etc. It's just part of recovery, but it's kicking my butt! Oh I'm also overweight (250, 5'5), and have developed adult rosacea on what used to be porcelain clear skin. I'm so ready for a change. I encouraged my teenage daughter and hubby into doing this with me. I've cleaned out the pantry, made breakfast casserole and roasted veggies, prepped! and the week is ready to go. I love to cook so am pretty sure I can handle this. It WILL be fine. It WILL be good. I CAN do it. (repeat to self reassure lol).

Mistyfire
Improvement in my rosacea was one of the first things that happened to me. You have lots of good to look forward to!
praxisproject
If you're recovering from surgery, you may find bone broth, gelatin and magnesium helpful in your recovery
KLHRTree
Can I tell you how much more I enjoy my food when it's this yummy? (I'm one of those people who often throw out takeout, or don't eat all day long and then stuff toast into my mouth with a cup of tea). Thanks for the encouragement, so glad to hear there's some hope for this awful rosacea... It makes me very self conscious (not more than my weight though).... now back to this amazing lunch I MADE MYSELF. Thanks everyone.
