kimw213 Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Hi my name is Kim & I'm starting the program on tomorrow Feb 16 (Tuesday). I'm excited about this program, my husband is suppose to start with me, but he seems like he has cold feet. But I'm gonna start with or without him, I really want him to do the program with me, but if his heart is not in it right now, I'm not mad at him but I'm determined not to let it deter me either. So I have read just about half the book "The Whole 30", I have been planning for 3 weeks, I have my kitchen ready and I my food items ready. Ready, set, here I go on tomorrow! Day 1: 2/16/16 Meal 1 perfect scrambled eggs, perfect sausage, 1 orange slice & 20 oz of water Meal 2 2 boiled eggs, leftover chicken w/sautéed green peppers & onions over a bed of green salad w, vinegarette dressing & water Meal 3 green salad w/tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh turkey, pineapples, grapes, oranges, sliced almond, walnuts, vinegarette dressing & water I drank my required amount of water throughout the day! Day 2: 2/17/16 Meal 1 Spinach Frittata & 20 oz of water w/lemon wedge Meal 2 Egg Protein salad over a bed of spinach drizzled with some vinegarette dressing & water Meal 3 Portion of a Baked turkey leg w, tangy bar b q sauce, Sautéed Caribbean style veggies, baked sweet potatoe w/Ghee butter & water I drank my required amount of water throughout the day! I had a small apple, mandarin orange & maybe 1/8 c of pecans for snacks throughout the day! Well I made it through day 2, it seemed ok & not a struggle yet, still feeling good, did a lot of w30 prepping yesterday, let's see what Day 3 brings!
