Cynthia114
Yesterday was my first day of Whole 30 and I felt fine up until maybe 4:30pm and got hit with a terrible headache that would not go away. So far today I've been feeling fine even though I woke up a few times during middle of the night (not normal for me). Is it OK to feel that way on the day I started? Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2016 The first few days you may feel headachey and tired, and your sleep may be a little different than you're used to. If you want to know if you're on the right track food-wise, feel free to post what you've eaten (with approximate portion sizes), how much water you've had, and exercise you've done, and we can let you know if it all looks okay. In general, drink plenty of water, try including at least a fist-sized serving of starchy vegetables each day, make sure you're eating enough, and salt your food to taste. LaG
Hi I started yesterday too, I had a mild headache and pretty tired both days. However I did quit drinking diet cola a few weeks ago and the headache from going cold turkey was killer! I guess it depends what you are cutting out, my body was used to sugar for energy

ShirleyP
Hi! I'm on day 9, and have been keeping a daily "log" of physical and emotional feelings. Day 2 and three my head hurt, I was tired and irritable. It has passed, but even the following 2 days I had to figure out why I would get a dull headache here and there...although I was following the food template, I wasn't eating quite enough. Once I figured out the balance, and got thru the initial detox, I have to say...today I'm feeling pretty "scary good!" You got this!!!
