Overwhelmed!

Instead of focusing on things you can't have, focus on what you can have. Lots of vegetables, meats, healthy fats, fruit. Many people find it helpful to do a weekly cookup. There are several good sites with Whole30 recipes, like Whole Life Eating or Well Fed, but you don't necessarily need recipes if you prefer to keep it simple -- you can grill or bake chicken, pair it with vegetables (fresh or frozen or even canned if you can find them with no off-plan ingredients, whatever works best for you), and add some kind of fat -- avocado, or a big handful of olives, or make some different sauces or dips (chimichurri sauce, morroccan dipping sauce, mayo, Sunshine Sauce, for example).

It's a lot of work if you're not used to cooking all your meals, but you do get used to it.

Are there specific things you're feeling overwhelmed by, or specific questions you have?

The information you provided is helpful! I think I felt overwhelmed by trying to cook without following recipes, because i'm sure that i'm used to using the foods that i'm not really supposed to have with the whole30. My husband and I eat fairly healthy because he's gluten free, but I've been in a rut with desiring sweets lately so I wanted to try the whole30 to detox from all of the bad food that I've had. I've been looking on Pinterest for recipes and gotten a few ideas.
