violetta
My cholesterol is up 30 points post Whole 30 in 3 months! It is the highest it has ever been at 258. I am not sure what to do. I love eating this way but don't want it that high. The eosinophils are also way off the chart. I don't see the doctor until next week but I assume she will want to put me on statins which I have already tried and they mess with restless leg. What can I do? Do i I need to cut back on fats? And with the white blood cells being so high, what is going on?
violetta
Never mind, I was finally able to search and find reasons for the higher levels, it looks like weight loss can temporarily raise levels. And I got a lot of advice about why it isn't really important to have really low levels anyway for women.

Artistcam
Eosinophils that are elevated can be a sign of allergy Btw, a 25 years ago I was told my total cholesterol of 240 was good. Now it is considered terrible. I have never taken a statin despite my doctor suggesting it every year. You have to make these decisions for yourself. Your higher total cholesterol may be because you have raised your hdl numbers which is considered a good thing.
