Happy19
Hi, during my Whole 45 my previous hands cracking and splitting condition totally cleared up. Day #1 of reintroduction of legumes (peanut butter) my fingers have been painfully cracked again and continue to be since Monday. Is it inflammation? I reintroduce dairy tomorrow and according to other posts,, that seems to be a trigger as well for skin breakouts. So many years of this painful condition with my hands and many Doctor prescriptions, never attributed the condition to diet. Wow.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 20, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2016 It certainly sounds like some kind of reaction to legumes. You might consider not doing more reintroductions until it clears up so you get a better idea of what things cause it.
azcoolmom
Often cracked fingers can be symptoms of psoriasis or even fungal. If they went away on whole30 and came back at reintroduction, there is not much doubt, it's diet related. If you read "It Starts with Food", there's a ton of great info as to why these foods affect some of us and what they're doing to us.
