Getting sick reintroducing

Recommended Posts

I finished my 30 days this past Thursday. I didn't reintroduce any new foods until yesterday (Friday) evening, when I had a very small glass of skim milk. My stomach cramped up all night and I finally ended up throwing up this morning until all the milk was gone. Does this mean that I might be allergic to dairy or that I just need to try a few teaspoons at a time? I haven't tried reintroducing anything else yet

Some people also have much stronger reactions to different types of dairy, such as skim milk (it's my worst dairy).

Don't reduce the doses down really small so you can "pass" Reintroduction, you want to find the things that make you feel less well, so you can make more informed decisions about how you eat.

There's a great summary on different kinds of dairy here:

Over time I have found my tolerance of dairy has increased a bit as my body has healed over time (leaky gut), but overall I still feel better without it so I avoid it.
