Frustrated!

I guess I'm just looking for a place to vent; I am on Day 23 and just mad at the world apparently...

Specific things that are annoying:

- Why the eff are there so many different names for sugar?

- Why can't there be a fast food chain that sells food that isn't straight up garbage?

- Why is sugar in everything???? Everything.

- What ahole invented all this terrible food? I feel like everyone would be like that girl in Mean Girls who talks about eating a cake full of rainbows if we didn't have any other options other than w30 food.

- Why is there such a negative social stigma against eating healthy food? I shouldn't feel embarrassed to tell people that I'm doing the whole 30, but I do. And with good reason, since the few people I did tell were definitely judgmental about it. Now I'm that loser who's too good for pizza.

I should also add that I'm breastfeeding and I just want to eat like six pounds of cake.

Thanks for listening. Sorry I brought up cake.

I feel you. Breastfeeding hunger was the worst hunger I've ever felt.

And now that I've noticed where all the sugar is, it's hard to stomach going back to eating a lot of things I used to eat without a second thought. I always considered myself 'good' about the amount of sugar that I ate.

No Problem - however this rant, plus the fact that you are breastfeeding is making me wonder if you are eating enough.

If you want to - feel free to give us a few days worth of meal ideas.  If you are able to give us specifics on portion size, types of things that you are eating (please say that you are eating spinach, kale and broccoli - just don't say lots of green vegetables) plus water and activity - it could help us help you feel better.  :)

I've started responding to this so many times, only to delete what I've written because I know 100% that I'm not eating enough. I have a 7 month old who is not a big fan of being anywhere other than my arms, and it makes cooking/food prep super difficult.

Here are some of my meals, though:

4 scrambled eggs with about 1 1/2 cups of homemade salsa and an avocado with salt & pepper

About 3 cups of pulled pork, two sweet potatoes, and 2-3 cups of roasted broccoli

12ish chicken meatballs and one spaghetti squash with about a handful of deseccated coconut

I very rarely get the recommended four meals in, and it's even more rare for me to feel full.

The whole30 has been amazing and I'm so happy I did it (3 days left!), but I miss the nights that I could say "I just don't feel like cooking. Can we pick something up?" I now am painfully aware of what a horrible option that is, and it makes me sad.
