justonecat
I am about to start my first Whole 30 and need a good source for compliant coconut flakes. The only grocery store choices in my area are Kroger and Walmart so I will probably need to order online. I looked at Amazon but there were so many brands/choices I did not know what would be compliant and what would not. Thank you!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2016 The main thing with coconut flakes is you want unsweetened, unsulfured (in the ingredients be sure there's nothing that ends in sulfite/sulphite, if the bag doesn't actually say unsulfured). Bob's Red Mill brand makes some that are okay, and they might be available at one of your stores -- they probably both have other items from that brand. Just read your labels, ideally it'll have nothing but coconut.
