Husband and I starting today. Doing meal planning today and prep for the week.   Had a cup of coffee today, no cream or splenda, my coffee intake will definitely go DOWN   during this challenge.  Looking forward to the journey.

GROUP! How are you doing on day 3? So I'm a little spacy - zoning out a bit. I'm not having any adverse issues (yes) but I was already completely off wheat, slightly off sugar and don't drink alcohol. I am however very emotional. I cried though the dentist - not my usual. How are you doing? I'm enjoying it and praying for good results. I think my face is clearing up already. 47 with acne is very annoying.

I'd love to hear what you are eating....

I'm doing OK so far. The weekend will be a challenge, as my family and I almost always go out to eat on Fridays and/or Saturdays. I'm good at powering through the work week, but will need lots of support this weekend!

I'm thinking about sugar a little too much..."grieving" I guess, since I know this needs to be a lifestyle thing for me to remain healthy and that I shouldn't go back to sugar after 30 days. When I get to day 30 I don't think I will WANT sugar anymore (that is what happened with my previous W30s), but right now no sugar makes me feel sad.

I had significant bloating from overeating on Easter weekend, and that is improving some. I hope it will improve more. No bad headache today, which surprised me (it was BAD on day 1!) and my mood seems OK so far.

Hi Easter Monday group! I started my Whole30 the monday after Easter too. I felt fine until last when I felt like I was coming down with a cold. Today I feel a little achy and have a headache so I know something is working! Hoping it will pass soon. I am 47 and have had skin issues like eczema on face and scalp for the past year. I have tried elimination diets in the past however I never seemed to be able to figure out the cause exactly. I suspect I mean have leaky gut happening or something like that. Plus I may have some hormone imbalance now that I am entering perimenopause. Fun. Anyway, I haven't had any flare ups yet. So I hope this Whole30 will help with that as well as a healthier outlook on food and eating for good. I love to cook and eat! I made the egg frittata today and it was very good. I am really craving fruit to satisfy that good old sugar bully but have been good with a few blueberries here and there so far. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!
