KBell8
I recently began working with a chinese medicine doctor. The doctor just prescribed me a blend of herbs for my autoimmune condition where the skin attacks itself. My autoimmune condition is getting progressively worse everyday and I want to start the blend…but I'm also starting Whole30 in 3 days. My questions is should I start the herbs simultaneously with Whole30 or try Whole30 first and then at the end of Whole30 if I'm still not better should I try to herbs? I'm just worried that I might not tell be able to tell if it's the herbs or Whole30 that are (hopefully!) healing me but I also don't want to waste time while my conditions is escalating quickly. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
MeadowLily
Bottomline. You want to get well. If you trust the herbal blend Rx, you paid good money for it/Doc visit.. following through with the herbs is your decision. A Whole 30 alongside can only help, it will not subtract from the healing process. You say you have no time to waste. Eating three wonderful meals of whole foods is always a great decision. You decide.
praxisproject
You can do both at the same time, but if you see big improvements, you won't know if it's the herbs or Whole30. Keep in mind if there's anything in the herbs that isn't compliant, this could reduce your results.
