Ksprljan
I am new to Whole 30. I have down lots of research, read, read and read some more. I feel ready but am sure there will be tough days!
mynrcircle
Today is day one...not looking forward to not being able to have a glass of wine after a long day...29 1/2 days to go
Ksprljan
Hi mynrcircle! So happy to have someone starting with me! I live in Europe so the time difference means I am at the end of day 1. It was a good first day, but a mild headache is settling in - right on track witthe the timeline! I agree the no wine rule will be a challenge! rexielion
Day one for me too! This is my third time trying Whole30, so hopefully I get it right this time. I leave for Europe for three months in about 35 days, so it is now or never!
Ksprljan
So how is everyone doing? After the day 1-2 headache I am feeling good. Trying to sta tuned in to my body and watch for changes and signals. Haven't noticed anything significant but it is only the end of day
rexielion
Today was the first day that I was really, really hungry the whole day. I was also pretty sleepy during the day, which is not normal for me. Other than that, I felt surprisingly fine. 1/10th down!
Ksprljan
Rexelion, I hope tomorrow is better! According to the timeline the fatigue shouldn't last long. It hasn't hit me yet! Day 5 done! I have bouts of hunger but nothing drastic. My issue is that no matter what or how much I eat, I just never feel full. That may actually be a good thing, its just different, no heavy, stuffed feeling! It will take some getting used to. I am also still cooking "regular" food for my husband and kids and its tough to not taste some carbs. Staying strong though! Hope everyone else is doing well. I find this sharing process very helpful!
Ksprljan
Day 7 done! The cravings are all of a sudden kicking in! I can't stop thinking about ice-cream, doughnuts, pasta, etc. Help!
rexielion
That fatigue lasted a while, but today I was bouncing off the walls with all this crazy energy. The cravings have not been too debilitating - yet - but I have been eating a larabar everyday which (somewhat) satisfies my massive sweet tooth. And a great side effect: my mild acne has 95% disappeared. I expected it to happen, but not this quickly! Tomorrow is unfamiliar territory - I did not make it to day 8 the first two times I did whole30.
