Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Leeky Turkey Thighs 2 tablespoon olive oil, walnut oil, coconut oil or combo 2 turkey thighs, seasoned with salt and pepper tumeric 2 leeks, thinly sliced and washed â…“ cup butter, unsalted, grass fed 1 cup chicken stock, or 1 tsp better than boiullion in water ½ teaspoon fines herbes ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika In a large frying pan with cover, fry seasoned turkey thighs in oils until well browned on both sides. Set in 200 degree oven on dish while you prepare the leeks. Melt butter in frying pan and saute leeks for 15 minutes until soft. Add chicken stock and bring to simmer. Push leeks to sides and add turkey thighs, skin side up, nestling the leeks around the turkey but not on top. Sprinkle with fines herbes and smoked paprika.
