Do we add fat when the meat is already fatty?

When I build my meal around protein, do I still add fat if the meat is fatty?

Today's lunch was leftover smoked beef ribs that I got from US Wellness Meats. 100% grass-fed, so it's good fat, but yeah, it's way fatty. Do I really add fat to a meal if the meat is already fatty?

I'm trying to lose weight, and I'm moderately active, but I have a really hard time losing weight.

I would say probably not, but that would be me and I'm not trying to lose weight. I wouldn't shy away from it, but I wouldn't necessarily eat my usual avocado with short ribs. I'll bet they were delish. Also, grass fed beef is leaner, so maybe they aren't as fatty as most are, so you'll just have to play with it and see.
