Hi, al!


I started (re)reading The Whole30 today, and I'm going to start my second attempt at a complete Whole30 on April 8th. It's on my calendar, and I've told myself that this means it is GOING to happen.


This is my second attempt because in January, I hit Day 11 and threw in the towel owing to completely unexpected mood swings — is this something anyone else has encountered? I felt great physically, but my mental health deteriorated to the point that I couldn't remember ever feeling worse since before I started on Zoloft 2-1/2 years ago. I think it may have been from lack of carbs, so this time around, all potatoes, all the time, I guess.


I would love to connect with others starting their Whole30 on or around this Friday, especially if you live on your own — adapting recipes and meal prep to fit just one person is super intimidating to me, and I'm hoping that working through this Whole30 will help me become more comfortable and adept with these skills for the future.
