Hi! i will starting my first day on 4-16-16. I am at my highest weight and it is disgusting! I am a coffee drink with sugar and creamer (creamer says sugar free but is it :) ) I am afraid of failing! I want to feel good and look good. I have been smoke free for 1 month and that is awesome for me! I smoked for 14 years minus pregnancies. i hope I can get a lot of advice and support here as I think my husband would break me since he is a big man and a trucker he doesnt feel like he needs any help with his weight. So im looking here for the support and maybe he will see that this actually works and he can jump aboard.

Hey there & welcome to Whole30

No need to be afraid - just take it one meal at a time, one day at a time, & one deep breath at a time - and any time your doubting your ability to go on, or you have a query, or a worry, or you just want to whinge, or even when you notice a NSV - we're here for you...

And huge congrats on the smoke free business - if you can do that, then you can do this - just apply the same principles!!

You can totally do this!! I'm only on Day 3, but I told EVERYONE that I was going on the W30 and for the most part everyone has been really helpful and supportive. I hope you'll be able to find a good support system even if you're going solo with the program.

Good luck!

Hi Ktlawson5- I am starting my Whole30 on the 16th as well! It would be great to have someone to do this with that is starting the same day! We can at least keep eachother in line! ;)

Congrats on quitting smoking! I quit about 2 years ago and it has made a lot of difference in my day to day tasks.

Once your husband sees the tremendous effort you will be putting in to the journey as well as the noticeable lifestyle changes, I'm sure he will want to jump on board with you! One thing I know for sure is you can force it on him. Even though I quit smoking 2 years ago, my husband finally just stopped in January, only because I let him do it in his own time.

Wishing you the best!
