Mary Loulou
yesterday was my first day and I didn't log, which was a mistake i think. i definitely do better when i have something to hold myself accountable to - and the idea of logging in a public place (like a forum!) is way better for me than logging in a notebook or journal where i don't have to share haha. I'm going to try a new thread for each day and then update it throughout the day. So far today: Breakfast: 3 eggs, 1/2 a red bell pepper, 1 roma tomato, 1/3 avocado scrambled together in a tablespoon of ghee. Unsweetened chai herbal tea midmorning: ice green tea, unsweetened lunch update to come!
jmcbn
Well hello mary lou..... You might be better to just keep adding to this thread each day rather than creating a new thread each day - that way you'll be able to look back at your 30days in one place, and should you come up against problems it will be easier for the moderators to take a look at your log.You might want to go for a little more veg with breakfast tomorrow, and have a half an avocado - it's way easier to portion out, and fat is your friend here
Mary Loulou
Thanks! I definitely am struggling with the volume of food, especially vegetables. I'm not used to eating so much, any tips on this are welcome!!
Mary Loulou
For lunch I had a giant bowlof spaghetti squash with some leftover ground beef (sautéed with mushrooms and onions) and home made tomato sauce.

Generally our advice would be to plate up a template sized meal, eat from it what you can (ensuring you get some of each food group), wrap up what's left and it it AS SOON AS you feel able to (ie. don't leave it until the next meal) You'll be surprised how quickly your appetite will increase as your hormones start to settle...
