nicola353
This is my 4th Whole30. This is embarrassing but my other 3 rounds I have had no problems with my bowels. Ever since I have started I have been having problems. Without getting too descriptive, my bowels are pretty loose. The only thing I have changed this whole30 is I haven't been snacking, I used to snack on fruit (totally not part of the whole30 I know). That really is the only difference I can think of. What could be wrong?
jmcbn
Hi Nicola In order for us to give you a more informed response it would be helpful to see what you have eaten over the past few days. Please provide specifics regarding types of veg & protein, fat sources, portion sizes, water intake etc and hopefully we can help you troubleshoot... nicola353
Well I'm on day14 and it has started pretty much on day1. I eat a lot of salads with dump ranch but I normally eat salads on my whole 30. I changed the lettuce I eat from romaine hearts to mixed greens. A normal day of food looks like this: 2 eggs, with one adiels chicken sausage, about a cup of zuchini sauteed in coconut oil and half an avocado. Salad with 1/2 a sweet potato, 1/2 avocado, handful of olives, carrots, roasted Brussel sprouts, with a meat like chicken or beef. And dump ranch which I don't really measure. Another salad from above for dinner without the avocado. If I don't have salad then I will have meat, sweet potato, and veggies with some avocado. I sometimes have some fruit with my lunch. jmcbn
Bear in mind that every Whole30 is different so what you did last time may not work this time around - things change, you've changed...Raw veg can be hard on the stomach so you might want to ease off on the salads for a few days - or at least sub some of the raw veg for cooked. brussel sprouts can also be problematic, so maybe switch those for something else for a few days too.Other than that (and totally unrelated) your breakfast could do with more veg.Are you drinking plenty of water? nicola353
Thank you I will try and cut that stuff out. I'm not great at drinking water I used to drink so much but not I'm lucky if I drink 32-40 ounces. My goal everyday is 64 ounces but I rarely make it.
