MarleneRenee
I'm only on Day 4, but I'm starting to notice to I am feeling full faster than I used to. In fact, a couple of times (including the lunch I just had), I feel so full that I can't finish the required portions. So my question is, do I respect the full feeling and stop or do I eat everything to make sure I have the full amount of protein, veggies and fat? Thanks in advance! PS. Btw, loving my food and feeling really great so far these first 4 days (I keep wondering when I will feel the negative side effects. I haven't even missed SUGAR yet and that's my addiction! Night 2 I had a hard night sleeping, but I chalked that up to other things going on.
madness
This is apparently very common. I get nauseated if I go past my "full" mark right now and that's not good! So I stop at full. I've been given the advice to finish my meal AS SOON AS I FEEL I CAN, rather than saving the leftovers for my next meal. I've only started to do that today and it didn't work with breakfast...and I finished my lunch for the first time in a week! I didn't really get negative side effects until 5 or 6 days in when I CRASHED and had to sleep half the day for a few days. Literally. Nap + 11 hours sleep. Craziness. jmcbn
Certain types of food can make you feel full even if you aren't.Can you let us know specifics of what you have eaten over the past few days indicating portion sizes, types of veg, etc along with liquid intake so we can be better equipped to help you troubleshoot? MarleneRenee
Well, often I feel full at breakfast. I have long fingers and I can hold FIVE eggs, but there is no way I'm eating five eggs! IMy first morning I had three eggs with all varieties of veggies. Days 2, 3, 4, I had an egg casserole (basically the same ingredients as the scrambled with the addition of sausage). I saute the veggies in 1-2 T of ghee. I got really full eating three eggs packed with veggies. According to the amount of eggs and veggies, I concluded my egg casserole should be five servings. But the first morning I tried that and I was too full so I've cut my serving size down just a tad since then. My lunch today was leftover from supper last night. Chicken pulled from the bones of a whole chicken - about a palm-palm and a half serving. Mashed onions/cauliflower/potatoes/ghee - about 1 cup. Roasted asparagus and yellow pepper - about 1/4 cup. Some carrot and celery sticks. I got very full and tried to finish, but finally stopped with about 5 spoonfuls left.
dpearson
I was wondering the same - if my plate follows the template, but I am full....should I keep going or stop?
MarleneRenee
Oh, and I missed my fruit - I have about 4 big blackberries and a small handful of blueberries at breakfast. At lunch today, no fruit. I drink water and only water.

Can you please expand giving specific types of veg that you are eating at each meal. Cauliflower, onions & celery can be problematic for some folk, but it would helpful to know exactly what else you have been eating... I was wondering the same - if my plate follows the template, but I am full....should I keep going or stop? The general rule of thumb is to continue to plate up a template meal, eat AS MUSH of it as you can (ensuring you get some of each food group), then wrap up the remainder to eat AS SOON AS you feel able - ie. don't leave it until your next meal. Your appetite will soon come around.
