I really was looking forward to doing this again as I failed at the reintegration last time. This time feels totally different not sure if I just forgot how it felt or I am just more committed to making this an actual lifestyle changing. Savil95 Posted April 15, 2016 Share Posted April 15, 2016 I'm also a day 4 first timer. Today it feels like I've been hit by a truck. My energy levels are okay and I'm not grumpy, but it's taking what feels like so much more effort to do things. I just keep reminding myself this is good for me! I'm almost positive that sugar is my enemy because prior to starting W30, everytime I ate or drank something sweet I felt awful, but I like the taste so much I wouldn't stop. Until I just did. MelissaGordon Posted April 15, 2016 Share Posted April 15, 2016 I was a sugar monster ---needed something sweet after each meal....and chocolate snacks around now while working. I am really proud i havent caved in. I made the Stuffed pepper meal last night and my family enjoyed it too. They do not care for the butternut squash soup. Savil95 Posted April 15, 2016 Share Posted April 15, 2016 I've been experimenting more with breakfast since I never ate it before leaving the house for work. Currently my favorite is to take what is basically the Diner Breakfast from the W30 book except for the fried eggs, put it all in a pan and then add scrambled eggs. Basically a Diner Scramble. It doesn't take terribly long to cook and I still get my morning "downtime" before facing the work day. But yes - the after dinner "sweet monster" attacks with a vengeance. And omigosh...chocolate! Joni56 Posted April 15, 2016 Share Posted April 15, 2016 We started on Tuesday as well, and today I feel like I have no energy and dumpy, but I know it will get better. My mistake today was going to Safeway to get food for my daughter and all I saw was enormous doughnuts, cookies (which I don't even like), and more doughnuts! By the time I left I was a mess. Note to self: do not grocery shop feeling like I did today! It is good to know what the different days may be like because it helps me know it will pass.
