Leanna
I see that it says everywhere that I should make my own Mayonnaise, but I found this trader Joe’s REAL MAYONNAISE. Ingredients: Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Whole Eggs, Apple Cider Vinegar, Egg Yolks, Water, Salt, Spices, Lemon Juice Concentrate. Can I eat this? Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted April 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 14, 2016 No, canola oil is only permitted for eating out when nothing else is available. Not for use in products or cooking in your own home.

Since I use mayo very rarely, I decided that this falls well within the rules, which state: "limit your use of the others (like safflower, sunflower, canola, grapeseed, or sesame) at home, while not specifically excluding them on the program. That means don’t use canola as your primary cooking fat in your own kitchen."
