hihi, I'm on Day 4 and just wondering if anyone have good suggestions for quick and easy meals?  Also for on the go?  Are smoothies allowed with avocado, flaxseeds, water/cashew milk and some kind of berries?  I recall seeing somewhere it said smoothies were a not allowed, but can't find it.

I have a fairly active life-style and also teach yoga so really need to prepared at all times to avoid just grabbing nuts and fruit - when I think I saw these also are best avoided?

-typically I eat eggs (either poached, boiled or omelette style), avocado and some kind of vegetable in the morning.

-lunch - chicken or fish with veges

-dinner - fish or some kind of meat with veges.

I make sure I get a lot of good fats in my diet with the extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil.

Thanks!

:)

I find if I know I'm gonna be busy, having a easy to grab new is best. So like a mason jar salad/leftovers with chicken salad or whatever as long as it follows the template

smoothies are discouraged because you get mor bang for your food if you chew it as opposed to drinking.

This part confuses me too... I was thinking of making some eggs and veggies w Ghee in the morning, and just have a chicken sausage or something on hand w a little fruit for afterward.  Might look crazy chowing down a sausage in the locker room, but that's the only thing i can think of that's portable protein and quick to eat.  Or hard boiled eggs to take along w fruit.  They did say egg white protein mix is OK, not ideal, but still allowed.  You could do a quick protein shake to chug down with some form of carbs, like a small bin of leftover potatoes. Is this helpful?? I'm still putting my game plan together.

Best to skip any kind of protein powders. Pre workout should be protein and fat, so hard boiled eggs with some mayo or avocado is good there. Post workout, you want to avoid fat, and no fruit. Grilled chicken breast and cubed roasted sweet potato is my go-to for post workout.
