Nighthawk88
I started my whole30 on April 18th and have been doing well so far. I want to make it to 30 days, but I see a potential hurdle. On day 27 of my 30, I have cake tasting for my own wedding scheduled and it can't be rescheduled! Does anyone have advice for me? That is so close to the end and I don't want to blow it. MeadowLily
http://forum.whole30.com/topic/36075-pastry-chef-on-a-whole30/#entry387210 I think this will help you. You can read what the pastry chef does when faced with cakes every day.
Nighthawk88
Wonderful, thank you. I had thought of spitting it out, but I didn't want to be rude to the baker.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted April 23, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2016 Wonderful, thank you. I had thought of spitting it out, but I didn't want to be rude to the baker. You may want to mention WHY you're spitting to the baker... don't make a big deal out of it, just let him/her know you're at the tail end of an elimination diet to see how foods affect you and to please not take it personally... also, making 'omg, this is amazing I wish I could eat the a cake like this the size of my head' type compliments will probably help
