Lisajf
I've just completed a 5 day detox but a friend recommended I do The Whole30 which I really like the sound of. I suffer with inflammatory arthritis and I've been on immunosuppressants for the last 8 or 9 years. I would love to be able to come off all of these meds which is just one of the reasons I want to do Whole30. I'm also tired of my food addictions and am really looking forward to reestablishing a good relationship with food again. I'm using the next few days to clear cupboards, plan meals, stock up on compliant goodies and get as much info/tips on how to make shopping not so laborious and how best to shop (UK). I'm nervous and excited and will probably visit this forum more than I wish to admit!
mizlo0424
hi lisa! I'm starting may 2nd as well! this will be my second round of whole30. Somehow I stayed 100% committed to it back in December...through xmas and new years! and I felt great...slowly but surely afterwards though bad habits came creeping back now I'm a just sick of feeling gross and sluggish again..even though luckily I have managed to only put back on a pound or two (I lost about 15 over six weeks when I first did it)....anyways the effects and the habits I broke were amazing and I want that feeling back!! At least I have found someone else with same day 1!!
cvcomer
Hi there, I'm Christina and I live outside of New Orleans. My husband and I are starting our first whole30 on the 2nd as well. We've done the advocare challenge in the past but I've heard so many great things about whole30 I've decided to jump on the band wagon. (since I cook and grocery shop he sort of tags along, lol). Would love to touch base with ya'll, swap recipes, and vent lol.
