New member, started W30 4/22/16

Hey I am new and just wanted to introduce myself!

I am 30, married with 2 kids, and struggling to lose weight and maintain it. I discovered the Whole 30 program on April 21st, and began the very next day! I needed this strict sort of program to really kick-start my efforts, and in just my first 8 days I am noticing many differences!

No one else in my family/friends is doing this, so it is quite difficult to be around everyone with things I can't eat/drink! So I am very much looking forward to sharing tips with all of you and having some support as we go through this together!

Congrats and welcome to the forums. 

 

One thing I do, is not tell myself I can't have anything. I'm an adult and can do as I please...make no qualms about that. What I do say is that I'm choosing to take a measly 30 days to only put healthy nutrient dense food in my body. When you make it a choice as opposed to a punishment you become more powerful then the food.
