gr8cate
Is it normal to poop a lot in the mornings? I'm on day 7 and have noticed I have to poop 4 or 5 times in the morning when I didn't have that before. The stools are loose but not diarrhea. Sorry of TMI. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted May 5, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 5, 2016 Um... that seems like an excessive amount of poop but it could be part of the detox... maybe list out what you've been eating (quantities as per the template, specific fat and veg and water intake) and we can see if there's something that stands out? jmcbn
I'm fairly certain this is linked to the amount of sweet potato, avocado, and coconut milk you mentioned in your other thread (& most likely the nut butter too). These are all high FODMAP foods and the way you described that you weren't sure if you were digesting your food/if you were full/still hungry is indicative of possible malabsorption issues. Other symptoms might include bloating, gassiness, excess wind, & cramping, but loose/excessive stools is a classic sign. Is there any greasy residue on the water? As I suggested in your other thread I'd remove those foods from your rotation for a few days to allow your gut to settle & see how you go from there.
