Knlmommy0305
My mother and I will be starting whole30 on may 9!! I'm pretty nervous because I'm generally an overthinker and I'm nervous I'll do something wrong or won't eat enough or eat too much. Is there an easy way to start? Is there a whole30 plan for dummies lol? I am a chronic pain patient and would love to be pain free or even close and not have to depend on narcotics. My name is Nikki btw I look forward to chatting with you. Good luck to everyone and I look forward to new healthy ME
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted May 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2016 I'm assuming you've checked out the rules and everything -- if not, start here for some basic information. There's no particular meal plan that you have to follow. If you tend to be busy during the week, you might like the weekly cookup concept. That same author has some Whole30 weekly meal plans as well -- here's week 1 -- but definitely feel free to change them up to fit with the foods you prefer to eat. It's really not that hard, although it's certainly challenging, if that makes any sense. Focus on eating lots of vegetables, good quality proteins, and healthy fats, in the proportions mentioned in the meal template. Look around the forums and find some other people starting around the same time you are so you can support each other and cheer each other on. You can do it! Kiki73
Hi Nikki, I'm starting May 9th too but I'm in the UK so difficult finding approved sources of certain things. This is my first Whole30 so pretty much restocking my ingredients from scratch aswell. But still looking forward to treating my body with the respect it deserves . Hope all goes well for you. Knlmommy0305
Good luck to you. I think it's gonna take a lot of work at first but after getting started it should be fairly simple
