bmaass
Hey everyone, My wife and I started our first Whole30 3 days ago (today is our 4th day). We're both doing really well and haven't had much in the way of cravings. I was a little fatigued on the 2nd day, but yesterday my energy picked back up. This program is a bit of a challenge for me since I'm allergic to coconut and treenuts and there seems to be a lot of coconut/almond milk in a lot of the recipes. I also have an aversion to eggs, so ground pork sausage has been my main source of morning protein. Last night I wasn't very hungry, so I ate a pork chop and a small salad. I was a little hungrier for breakfast this morning, but had to force myself to eat lunch due to lack of appetite. Anyone else having any hunger hangups? Hope to be posting often. Support groups are the best way to keep motivated.
Leigh Anne
Welcome! I'm on day 4, also. In fact, there's a group for people who started May 9 by Chef Mike that you would probably enjoy. I've felt hungry all afternoon, and I thought I had a good lunch. I waited 1/2 hour and was still hungry, so I had some sun butter and cherries. Dinner will be at 7. Salmon, beet salad, and asparagus. Kind of missing chocolate now. But I'm not going to give in. My Sugar Dragon definitely needs to be reduced to a gecko! bmaass
Cool, thanks. Do you have a link to the group or can you explain how I find it? It's weird that you are so hungry but I have no appetite. Makes me think I'm doing something wrong even though I'm following the rules.
Walts_Daughter
bmaass - I'm also on day 4. Did you find out how to join the May 9th'er group? I think it would help me a lot. I have felt okay until late this afternoon, I have a sore throat...really hope I'm not getting the first week "common" cold.
