Big NSV today - I have a sinus infection and have started Prednisone along with an antibiotic today (recurrent sinus infection). I have been feeling really bad for 3 days, and saw my doctor yesterday. I had a planned a cheat since DH was picking up food from a restaurant since I didn't feel well enough to cook. Not a big cheat, but their seasoning on their roasted veggies has "a little sugar" in it (I asked) I told myself that I'm sick and had to eat some veggies. I ordered a chicken kabob, roasted veggies and a side greek salad with no feta and extra olives . I fully planned on eating those sugar roasted veggies, but when I opened them, I decided that this is not the hill I want to die on. I had leftover compliant veggies in the fridge so I ate them instead! Big victory for me. I let DH eat the veggies! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CarolinaGirl71 Posted May 15, 2016 Author Share Posted May 15, 2016 So, my meals today were: Breakfast - 2 poached eggs over roasted California mix (broccoli, carrots and cauliflower roasted in coconut oil), butternut squash cooked in coconut oil Lunch - Ground beef cooked with red peppers and homemade compliant taco seasoning, served over chopped butter lettuce and tomatoes and 1/2 avocado, Green beans with balsamic vinegar, blueberries, butternut squash Snack - 1/2 banana with almond butter Dinner - take out from local Greek restaurant - chicken Kabob, Greek side salad with no feta and extra olives, olive oil and vinegar dressing, roasted Calif. veggies Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am starting to feel better, so that's a plus. M1 - 2 poached eggs over California Mix, 1/2 avocado, orange slices and blueberries, coffee with 1 Tbsp. coconut cream (TJ's) M2 - This was really good! chicken breast over sautéed in EVOO green beans, grape tomatoes, W30 compliant bacon 1 slice diced, 1/2 avocado M3 - Aidells chicken apple sausage, over Bubbie's sauerkraut, root veggies (sweet potato, white potato, yellow potato, parsnips, carrots and onion, roasted in ghee, and sliced cucumber in balsamic vinegar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
