Hello everyone! 

My name is Jessica and I've recently just finished the "It Starts With Food" book and now I'm ready to take on the whole 30- starting RIGHT NOW!


I am currently 20 years old and I've been dieting most of my life, beginning at too young an age. I've never had a healthy relationship with food because of it. When I was younger I dealt with childhood obesity and when I hit 190 lbs at age 12, I couldn't take it anymore and did a multitude of diets. I did lose a lot of the weight I needed to and am in the healthy range now at 145 lbs and 5'9, but I don't truly feel healthy. I still feel that unhealthy relationship with food where I'm either eating too little, or eating to the point of feeling sick. I feel like I don't have control over what I eat and I want that control back! 


When I came across the Whole30 plan, I bought the book and thought it would be a great way to restart my relationship with food! I love taking on challenges with others, but none of my family and friends seem committed enough to start with me, so if anyone wants to be a support buddy in this Whole30, I'd love that!

Also I created a new Instagram page to document my food giving myself a visual representation for motivation, which is @whole30_flirtyandthriving (like from the movie 13 going on 30)
