ShannMurrON Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Today is my day four. I am pretty excited. I didn't have any cravings until today. I am really craving a diet coke and anything sweet. I've been incredibly cranky and just exhausted since yesterday afternoon. I am just trying to push through this, and hoping that things will be easier tomorrow. Are there any words of wisdom for me? Moderators ShannonM816 Posted May 22, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 22, 2016 I'd encourage you to list what you've eaten the last couple of days, with approximate portion sizes as they relate to the meal template, just to be sure you're on the right track as far as meal size and composition. In general, making sure you're eating enough at meals and drinking plenty of water are the most important things to help keep cravings at bay. When you're having a craving, try to distract yourself -- go for a walk, clean, call a friend, read a book, work on a hobby. Just something to get your mind off food for a while. Typically cravings only last a short time. If you feel you must eat, have fats, not something sweet. Olives or avocado would be great options.
