Breakfast ideas?

You'll get the best results if you eat three meals a day, the first one within an hour of waking up, and the others 4-5 hours apart. If you're going to commit to this for 30 days, why not try it? The "can't see myself eating steak or meat for breakfast" is purely a mental thing -- you can learn to eat breakfast, lots of people here on the forum have.

Here's what we usually recommend to people not used to eating breakfast -- get up, and fix a plate of food that meets the meal template, eat as much of it as you can, eating evenly from protein, fat, and vegetables, and when you can't stand to eat another bite, wrap what's left up, and as soon as you feel you could stomach a little more, eat some more. Don't drink a cup of coffee until after you've at least started breakfast, as it can be an appetite suppressant. Over time, as your hormones level out, you'll wake up hungry and look forward to eating breakfast.

For breakfast ideas, you could do a blended soup, and throw in some protein of some kind like diced or shredded chicken, some compliant sausage, left over ground beef. This is a nice blended soup that works well at breakfast, but there are plenty of other options -- here's some others that are definitely compliant.

You don't have to do soup, obviously, but it's often a nice way to ease into veggies first thing in the morning. Just be sure that if there's no protein in the soup itself, you add some.

love the tips from the moderator - thanks.

would you consider maybe a homemade fruit salsa with berries, mint, a touch of orange or apple juice on the side with some approved sausage or a grilled chicken pattie - or even a burger (meat, lettuce, tomato)?

toast and marmalade, granola, meusli, bacon sandwich - these are all things I used to have.

scrambled eggs, with avocado, and sauted mix veg.

poached eggs, smoked salmon, and steamed veg

salad with mayow and diced chicken.

boiled eggs, mixed nuts, and mixed salad.

etc

are what I have now.

and there are lots of other ideas.

You could put the slow cooker on overnight, before going to bed, and wake up to a stew.  No different to leaving it on during the day when everyone's out of the house, and electricity price is probably cheaper overnight.

Remember not to let the fruit push the veg off of your plate.... ;)

Also, fruit juice is fine for use in cooking, but not for drinking - unless we're talking about a small dash in some water to add a bit of flavour.
